SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Join our team as a Senior Project Engineer and play a key role in developing and improving our production capabilities.

What will you do?

You will be involved in the full journey of production equipment – from the initial idea and technical specification to installation, commissioning and final handover to production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Equipment sourcing & supplier coordination – cooperate with our Korean headquarters, R&D centres and suppliers in Korea and China to define technical requirements, prepare RFQs/RFPs and evaluate technical and commercial proposals.

• Project management – coordinate local Czech and European contractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and according to agreed requirements.

• Factory layout & engineering – design and update factory layouts using BricsCAD/AutoCAD, making sure new equipment fits into the production environment and all required utilities are properly aligned.

• Installation & commissioning – supervise equipment installation, assembly and on-site activities

• Technical documentation – prepare CAPEX proposals, project approval documents, equipment documentation, SOPs and handover protocols.

• Production handover – ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to stable mass production.

• Continuous improvement – identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes and the overall efficiency of our production environment.

  
  

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong project coordination skills.

You should have:

• Technical education and at least 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, ideally in automotive

• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, automation and utility systems.

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as BricsCAD or AutoCAD, particularly for factory layout design.

• Proven experience preparing CAPEX proposals, technical specifications, equipment manuals and other engineering documentation.

• Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors or engineering projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.

• The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with both local and international teams.

• Professional working proficiency in English – you will communicate regularly with colleagues, engineers and suppliers from Korea and other international locations.

• Czech language skills are strongly preferred, particularly for communication with local suppliers and contractors.
